    Farmers Market at the Battery

    This Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m., visit the farmers market at the Battery. Catch some local vendors, fresh produce, baked goods and more. The Braves away game will be up on the pavilion screen and attendees can also visit the petting zoo and Bark Market — vendors selling treats and accessories for Cobb county's furry friends.

    This event is free and parking is free for the first two hours in multiple lots.

    5K Run, Walk and Stroller Roll

    This family and pet-friendly 5K on Saturday at the Riverside EpiCenter in Austell is truly an inclusive event. The race is for runners and walkers of all levels and kicks off at 8 a.m. Participants are encouraged to bring their strollers and pets to complete the race with them.

    There will also be a 3K for teens, 50-meter dash for toddlers and an obstacle course for all kids. All who finish the race will earn a medal, T-shirt and fresh fruit bag. Additionally, there will be prizes, giveaways, live music and vendors.

    Smyrna’s Summer Concert Series

    The Smyrna Concert Series is back this Saturday in Village Green Park. The concert is from 7 to 10 p.m. and features a Bruno Mars tribute band, Uptown Funk.

    Admission is free but there are also tables available to purchase.

    Pedal Palooza

    This Saturday, bring your students from third grade to 12th grade for some mountain biking in Allatoona Creek Park in Acworth.

    Third through fifth-grade students will participate in on-the-bike games, while grades six through 12 will go on an adventure ride through the park, led by a Georgia Cycling mountain bike team.

    All participants should bring a bike and a helmet. Limited loaner bikes are available but must be reserved online in advance. For more, visit georgiacycling.org.

    Art at the Avenue

    The Juried Art Exhibition opens this Saturday at The Avenue West Cobb in Marietta. This exhibit will feature art of all mediums, genres, styles and techniques. Come visit from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
