    Niya Smith of Smyrna was named to Purchase College’s Dean’s list for the spring 2024 semester. Smith is studying dance.Desiree D’Moore of Kennesaw graduated from the University at Albany during the 180th commencement ceremonies. D’Moore earned a Master of Science in Physics.Malik Olayiwola of Mableton was named to the spring 2024 Dean’s list at Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey.The University of Tampa in Tampa, Florida named the following local students to the Dean’s list for the spring 2024 semester – Anna Miller of Acworth, a junior majoring in Forensic Science; Vashti Hobson of Mableton, a sophomore majoring in Criminology and Criminal Justice; and Morgan Wimberly of Marietta, a sophomore majoring in International Business and Economics.Jackson Waddell of Marietta graduated from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas during fall commencement, which was held May 3-4 in the Farris Center on campus. Waddell graduated with a Master of Arts.The University of Wisconsin-Madison in Madison, Wisconsin announced the following local students graduated during ceremonies held May 10-11: Marietta residents - Isabelle White graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies, Political Science with distinction; and Natalie Wolff graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with Distinction.Sean Snow Jr. of Smyrna completed IMPACT new student orientation and enrolled at Troy University in Troy, Alabama for the fall 2024 semester at the Troy campus.Luca Cousins of Marietta was named to the Dean's list at Tufts University for the spring 2024 semester.Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina announced the following students graduated on May 4 at McAlister Auditorium on campus: Acworth resident Joshua M. Davis, Bachelor of Arts, Business Administration. Kennesaw resident Townsend Belle Amick, magna cum laude, Bachelor of Arts, Asian Studies and Politics and International Affairs. Marietta residents - Sydney Louise Arkoette, magna cum laude, Bachelor of Arts, Education; Frances Catherine Hakes, magna cum laude, Bachelor of Arts, Psychology; Rya Katherine Hollaran, magna cum laude, Bachelor of Arts, Communication Studies with minors in Journalism and Visual Strategy; Ashlyn Elizabeth Pisciotta, magna cum laude, Bachelor of Arts, Psychology; and Abigail Noelle Robertson, summa cum laude, Bachelor of Science, Health Sciences with a minor in Medicine Health and Culture. Powder Springs resident Haley Shadburn, Bachelor of Arts, Individualized Curriculum Program.The following Marietta residents graduated from Oberlin College and Conservatory in Oberlin, Ohio during the 2024 Commencement Ceremony in May - Andrea Julia Jones, Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science; and Jordan Allan Mack, Bachelor of Arts in Physics.
