    Polk Street Closed for Friday Football Game

    Polk Street will be closed in front of Northcutt Stadium beginning at 5 p.m. Friday.

    The closure is a result of Marietta High School hosting their season opener football game at the stadium, Marietta Police report.

    Officials ask that people use alternate routes and anticipate traffic delays.

    The roadways surrounding the stadium will reopen after the game, likely around 10:30 p.m.
