    Recent Events at Samuel S. Lawrence Chapter Order of DeMolay

    On Aug. 18, the Samuel S. Lawrence Chapter Order of DeMolay in Marietta held a bowling/prospect party at the Bowlero in Kennesaw on Barrett Parkway. Special

    On Aug. 18, the Samuel S. Lawrence Chapter Order of DeMolay in Marietta held a bowling/prospect party at the Bowlero in Kennesaw on Barrett Parkway.

    Also at that event, a casual meeting was held and elected Tanaya Johnson as “Big Sister” and Marie Johnson as “Little Sister.”

    DeMolays in attendance were Senior Councilor Tyler Mauldin and Master Councilor Wheaton Flanagin. Prospects in attendance were Eli Nobles, Haden Nobles and Jordi Speice. Advisors in attendance were Chapter Advisor Jimmy Flanagin, Chapter Chairman Victor Somers, Matt Mauldin, Lyle Chadwick and Justin Nobles. Special guests were Wayne and Yenni Speice.

    Also that day, the Chapter visited the Lavonia Chapter for Installation of Officer at the Carnesville Masonic Lodge.

    DeMolays in attendance were Junior Councilor Alex Wicks. Showing support was the Chapter’s Sweetheart Morgan Wicks. Lavonia installed Rayben Dunn as their new Master Councilor.

    On Aug. 23, the Chapter showed up to support law enforcement for fallen Paulding County Deputy Brandon Cunningham. The event was all along Dallas Highway.

    DeMolays in attendance were Senior Councilor Tyler Mauldin. Advisors in attendance were James Mauldin and Matt Mauldin.

    On Aug. 24, the Chapter showed up to support the statewide induction of new members. The event was held at the College Park Masonic Lodge in Atlanta.

    There were five new members inducted into DeMolay and two were from the Samuel S. Lawrence Chapter – Eli Nobles and Haden Nobles.

    DeMolays in attendance were Senior Councilor Tyler Mauldin. Advisors from the Chapter present were Chairman Vic Somers, Lyle Chadwick, Justin Nobles and Matt Mauldin. Special guests were George Queen, Donna Nobles, Elizabeth Nobles and Russ Nobles.

    These events help them earn merit bars, learn civil obedience and teach them to be team players.
