Vikings camp Sam Darnold will have fans forgetting about every real snap he has taken
"I ain't afraid of no ghosts!" said Sam Darnold at Minnesota Vikings training camp earlier this week, probably. I cannot confirm or deny that this was what he said, but he sure is slinging the pigskin most triumphantly to the likes of Jordan Addison and Justin Jefferson in gym shorts. Nothing tells me a real football game is going on than seeing wideouts rocking guardian caps atop their purple helmets.

Vikes Views: Are You in Favor of 18 Games?
Who doesn't want more Minnesota Vikings action, but is it too much?. There are multiple sources out there stating the NFLPA and the NFL are discussing expanding the season the 18 games. This expansion would also come with two byes to help with load management. The NFL is one of the shorter seasons in professional sports, due to the violent nature of the game. This expansion would bring two additional weeks and make it a 20 week season. This would obviously bring two additional weeks of revenue and more money for all. That’s why Roger Goodell gets paid so much, to bring in additional revenue. The NFLPA will likely ask for additional roster spots, but the players have money to gain as well. More money means a higher salary cap and a higher floor. It makes too much sense for both sides to not get it done.

Vikings receiver Jordan Addison says he’s ready to accept any punishment related to his July 12 arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence. Addison, 22, spoke with reporters on the first day of training camp on Wednesday, though he would not discuss the particulars of the situation on the advice of his agent and attorney. It was the first time he’s spoken publicly since the incident in California earlier this month. He did admit, however, that he was in a “dark place” after the arrest. Vikings corner Mekhi Blackmon suffers likely season-ending ACL injury “I didn’t think it was going to be how...

Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert: Defensive stalwart for France
Gobert is on the French national team's roster for the 2024 Paris Olympics. After tying an NBA record for the most career Defensive Player of the Year awards by achieving his fourth in 2023-24, Gobert is now set to play for France in the Olympics. Alongside Victor Wembanyama, Gobert's elite rim protection should make it a nightmare for any opposing team looking to score inside.
