    STAA's Bailey collects All-M&O First Team honors

    MARINETTE — Saint Thomas Aquinas Academy senior Kaiden Bailey was one of two Cavalier golfers to garner All-Conference laurels from the Marinette and Oconto Conference on Friday.

    Bailey earned All-M&O First Team honors for the third year in a row after winning a Division 3 Regional title en route to his fourth straight appearance in the WIAA State tournament.

    Fellow Cavalier Theron Thayer was named to the Second Team.

    The conference-champion Lena Wildcats have four golfers on the M&O All-Conference list, the most of any school.

    Braden McVane collected Golfer of the Year honors for the second consecutive year in addition to seizing a spot on the First Team.

    Drake Dionne and Mason Belongia also received First Team nods for the second straight season, as did Mason Spice on the Second Team.

    Jonas Johnson of Oneida Nation rounds out the First Team.

    Crivitz, Coleman and Gillett had one Second Team selection, with Jack Bauer representing the Wolverines, while Thomas Rohde and Thomas Carmody did the same for the Cougars and the Tigers, respectively.
