Heavy rains lead to flooded roads, water rescue attempts
Wednesday’s early morning storms and heavy rains have resulted in multiple road closures being reported and emergency personnel conducting water rescue attempts. Baxter County Office of Emergency Management Director David Stults says county crews are assisting Marion County crews in Flippin and Yellville with swift water search and rescue operations due to flooding issues. Stults also urges motorists to avoid the Denton Ferry area because of flooding.
