Homeless Centralia man charged with four different offenses in Marion County Court
A 21-year-old homeless Centralia man faces four new criminal charges all on different days. Jacob Dickerson was charged in Marion County Court on Monday with a June 3rd burglary to a building in the 400 block of East Noleman with intent to commit a theft. He’s charged with a June 14th misdemeanor criminal trespass to real property charge for entering the Huck’s Store on East Calumet with prior notice his entry was prohibited. Dickerson is also charged with misdemeanor retail theft at the Roll ‘N Up Smoke Shop on East Noleman on June 15th and then misdemeanor criminal trespass to Roll ‘N Up Smoke Shop for entering the store where he had been banned on the following day.

A 28-year-old Centralia man has been arrested on two outstanding warrants and resisting arrest after allegedly running from Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies who went to his home to pick him up on the warrants. The Sheriff’s Department reports Bryce Edwards of South Bryan ran from his home on foot into a wooded area. A deputy later spotted him and Edwards was taken into custody without further resistance. Edwards was wanted on Marion and Clinton County no-bond misdemeanor warrants and taken to the Marion County Jail.
