Indy bridge closes due to erosion, plans to open in September
INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Department of Public Works closed the McGregor Road bridge over Buck Creek on the southeast side of Marion County on Thursday. According to DPW, engineers are closing the road due to soil erosion near the bridge approaches. Although the bridge is classified as structurally sound and supportive of traffic, work on and near the approach slabs needs to be addressed.
