New brewery and burger place coming to Morgantown in August
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WBOY) — Marion County brewery Short Story Brewing announced on Tuesday that it will be expanding with a new location in Morgantown, West Virginia. Short Story Brewing in Morgantown will be located at 94 Long St., next to the Morgantown-Westover bridge on the Westover side. The property was previously considered by Chestnut Brew Works (CBW) in 2022, but CBW ended up expanding to a different building on Pleasant Street earlier this year.

FAIRMONT, W.Va. — WVU Medicine Fairmont Medical Center has completed renovations on its third floor and reopened acute patient care rooms. “We are excited about our continued revitalization of the facility,” Aaron Yanuzo, WVU Medicine Fairmont Medical Center chief operations officer, said. “This project reflects our commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care close to home for the residents of Marion County and surrounding areas.”
