Many U.S. churches close their doors each year, typically with little attention. But this closure has a poignant twist.

CARLISLE COUNTY, Ky. (KFVS) - A Bardwell man is in custody after being indicted on charges including murder related to a fatal two-vehicle crash in 2023. On July 18, Kentucky State Police presented a case to the Carlisle County Grand Jury. According to the Carlisle County Sheriff’s Office, the case was in reference to a two-vehicle motor vehicle collision that occurred on May 21, 2023, at the intersection of US Highway 62 and KY Highway 307.
