Pride Picnic at Beaver Creek Park: Celebrating unity and inclusion in Glasgow
In a show of unprecedented outreach and inclusivity the newly formed Pride Committee will be hosting it’s inaugural Pride Picnic Event on August 3rd at Beaver Creek Park. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. residents are encouraged to come and socialize, all the while showing support for the LGBTQ community. Though The Blue Oval has significantly dialed back its electrified ambitions as of late, that doesn’t mean the automaker isn’t also continuing to invest heavily in that area, either. In fact, one of several under-construction Ford EV battery plant sites – BlueOval SK Battery Park in Kentucky – continues to take shape, and is on track to begin production in 2025, as originally expected. Now, with the expected population growth that comes along with this new plant, the surrounding area is working to hire more police officers as well.
