Since its launch, Walmart has expanded its roots and is the prior choice of buyers across the United States and worldwide. It won't be wrong to say that its stores are present in almost every state, including Illinois and Florida.

Many of us love buying things from Walmart regularly. When the news came that the company would close some of its stores due to poor performance, some were in shock.

Believe it or not, Walmart has decided to close around five locations across three states, with Florida being one of them. I have not been to the store located at 6900 US Highway 19 North, Pinellas Park, Florida, but I have heard that it has been closed or will soon be closed.

The decision, according to a source, was tough to make but Walmart had no other options because many of its stores were not giving good business. Unfortunately, the ones that are being closed or have been closed failed to meet the expectations of the company.

Will the state's Business Emergency Program and funds make any difference?

Some time ago, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced $2.5 million for businesses across Florida. The money would be given as part of the Small Business Emergency Program, which was activated to provide short-term loans to businesses struggling for their survival.

According to the details available online, businesses impacted across the following counties are going to get benefits.

1. Collier County -- $355,000
2. Monroe County -- $50,000
3. Lee County -- $1.27 million
4. Hillsborough County -- $300,000
5. Sarasota County -- $150,000
6. Manatee County -- $100,000
7. Lake County -- $75,000
8. Highlands County -- $50,000
9. Charlotte County -- $175,000
