The DNR Shooting Range Grant Program is accepting applications for the development of rifle, handgun, shotgun firing, and archery opportunities for public use. While growing up in southern Indiana, I always looked forward to trips to the shooting range. I started out at just seven years old with a simple single shot .22 rifle, before making my way up to a 12-gauge shotgun around the age of 11. Eventually, I was given the opportunity to fire a few different handguns. The hobby has stuck with me through the years, and I've since become fascinated with old military surplus rifles. I still make regular trips to the shooting range today.

MARION, Indiana — An Indianapolis man was critically injured after shots were fired into their car in Marion early Monday, police said. Around 4 a.m. July 15, a Marion Police Department sergeant on patrol heard apparent gunshots in the area of South Home Avenue and East 27th Street.
