City announces $5 million toward Pufferbelly Bridge over Coliseum
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – On Thursday, Mayor Sharon Tucker announced that a $5 million gift has been given to the City of Fort Wayne to assist in the funding of a future bridge crossing over Coliseum Boulevard that is planned to be constructed as part of the Pufferbelly Trail.

Expect mostly sunny conditions for your Friday with highs in the upper 70s, a few degrees cooler than normal. Urban League debuts mom-led initiative to improve police-community relations
The Fort Wayne Urban League announced an initiative Thursday to get families involved in training and interacting with police in the community. The initiative, called ‘Mothers for the Movement – every child home alive’ looks to develop training and language to educate youth about interacting with police and also create opportunities for local police officers to interact with the communities they serve.

Driver of truck seriously injured after being ejected in Cass County crash
CASS COUNTY, Ind. — A Wabash man was seriously injured after being ejected after a Friday morning crash in Cass County, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office. At around 1:42 a.m. on Friday, deputies with the office responded to a single vehicle crash near County Road 500 East and U.S. 35, according to a news release from the office. While on the scene, they found a man, identified as a 26-year-old from Wabash, ejected around 100 feet off of the roadway.
