Salisbury dam set for demolition
SALISBURY, Vt. (WCAX) - A derelict dam in Salisbury is set for demolition this week. The Wainwright Mill Dam, also known as Halnon Pond Dam, sits on the south end of Lake Dunmore Road. Officials say the dam is in poor condition and no longer serves a purpose. i The goal is to restore the natural stream’s fish habitat and restore the floodplain.

Sales Slump at the Capital City Farmers Market
