The Metro Transit Police Department (MTPD) is searching for a suspect involved in a stabbing at the Silver Spring Transit Center that occurred Thursday night. According to MTPD, “last night, around 11:40 p.m., MTPD officers responded to the Silver Spring Transit Center for the report of a stabbing following a dispute. Preliminary investigation shows the victim, and the suspect were involved in a verbal altercation when the suspect stabbed the victim.

Woman dies after hit-and-run crash along Bladensburg Road
