Man arrested for robbery, obstruction
On Thursday morning at around 10, Norfolk Police responded to the 1300 block of Impala Drive for a report of an assault. According to Capt. Mike Bauer, the alleged male victim said he saw a man looking into his neighbor’s car and confronted him. He said the suspect responded by putting his fists up and into a boxer's stance.
Severe weather rips through Custer County, causes power outages
Broken Bow, Neb. (KNOP) - Severe weather ripped through Custer County Tuesday evening knocking down power lines and leaving residents without electricity. A storm spotter observed a tornado a few miles west of the city, causing the National Weather Service to issue a tornado warning around 6:55 p.m. By 7:30 p.m., powerful winds tore through the roof of a dance studio on 5th Avenue in Broken Bow.
Deputies find meth, revolver while serving search warrant at Beatrice home
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Three people were arrested Friday after a drug bust at a home in Beatrice, the Gage County Sheriff’s Office says. Around 12:15 p.m., deputies — along with the Beatrice Police Department — served a search warrant at a home near 16th and Market streets.
