Basketball great and current SPASH coach McCarville reflects on WNBA’s growth
STEVENS POINT, Wis. (WSAW) - Before she returned home to Stevens Point to coach her alma mater, Janel McCarville was a force in the WNBA. McCarville was the number one overall pick in the 2005 WNBA Draft. She played nine years in the league, winning a championship with the Minnesota Lynx in 2013. She last played in the WNBA in 2016. Little did she know what the league would shape into.

Xue, a Princeton recruit, has been quite a bit faster, holding a personal best of 15:38.14, which he swam at the NCSA Championships in March. Ozaukee Aquatics 14-year-old Grant Freeze had a fantastic swim for 4th in the mile, clocking a 16:13.24, which marks a new personal best by nearly 24 seconds.

The father and daughter from Green Bay who died on Friday during a hike at Canyonlands National Park in Utah have been identified, according to the San Juan County (Utah) Sheriff's Office.
