UPDATE: Missing Marshall County woman located
GRANT, Ala — UPDATE: The missing woman has been located as of a 6:30 p.m. update by officials. The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public's assistance in locating Gabrielle Kyle Purdum. Ms. Purdum, who goes by the nickname "Elle," is a 25-year-old white female and may be living with a condition that may impair her judgement.
Hybrid dog case closed
A case that made many in the county howl in anger a few weeks ago, is now over. Jimmy Harold Mance and Amanda Mance of Grant, according to reports, unlawfully owned several hybrid wolves and housed said wolves in a fenced in area on their property in Grant. The property where the wolves were housed was on a road occupied by several residences.

MARSHALL CO., Ala. (WAFF) - The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency has identified the three people killed in a wreck involving a vehicle and a motorcycle on Saturday. Officials say 27-year-old Blake Hicks of Arab was fatally injured when the 2024 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle he was riding hit another vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
