KBI confirms man's remains found
Human remains found Wednesday in rural Marshall County are those of Camoran Shoptese, 36, who had been missing since last week, investigators said late Thursday. "We are sad to share that KBI agents and deputies from the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office have located remains during our search for a missing Blue Rapids man," said the release from the Kansas Bureau of Investigation.

MARSHALL COUNTY – The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) and the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office have located remains during their search for a missing Blue Rapids man. On July 10, around 5:30 p.m., KBI agents and deputies from the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office located human remains in rural Marshall County. KBI’s Crime Scene Response Team responded to the area, which was northwest of Waterville, Kansas, near Sunflower Road and 2nd Road.
