KANSAS CITY—A teen driver died after an accident just before 5a.m. Saturday in Jackson County, Missouri. According to police, a Nissan Altima driven by 18-year-old Joshua Snowbarger was southbound on Noland Road, approaching 35th Street in Independence. The driver lost control of the car. The Chillicothe Mudcats had already clinched a spot in the MINK League postseason for the first time in three years earlier this week. They came into the final day of the MINK League playoffs with a chance to host a MINK League playoff game for the first time in five years.
