Watch: Thunder’s Isaiah Hartenstein swishes 3-pointers in offseason workout
When the Oklahoma City Thunder added Isaiah Hartenstein, the immediate thought was how the 26-year-old would help the rebounding and size problems. His rebound rate would’ve easily ranked best in OKC last season. At 7-foot, 250 pounds, he provides the Thunder some serious size at center that they previously didn’t have. After that though, there are some other secondary benefits with Hartenstein. One might include bringing back an outside shot he abandoned with the New York Knicks. Hartenstein is a career 27-of-87 (31%) from 3 in his six seasons but only attempted three outside shots last year. He didn’t rule out expanding his...
Will Rogers World Airport could see support for nonstop flights through state grant funds.
Airport officials are hopeful that state grants will continue supporting more nonstop flights out of Will Rogers World Airport ahead of a rebranding effort late this summer. Tuesday, the Oklahoma City Council authorized the allocation of $500,000 in limited-tax general obligation bond funding to the Alliance for Economic Development of Oklahoma City. But the decision comes with strings attached: The funds will only be allocated if the organization receives $2.5 million in state grant funding to bring new nonstop air service to the airport.

Oklahoma favored to land 2025 defensive lineman out of Florida
After a fantastic 2024 defensive line haul that netted David Stone, Jayden Jackson, Nigel Smith, Danny Okoye and Wyatt Gilmore, the Oklahoma Sooners have done a nice job adding talent upfront in the 2025 recruiting class. With five months until the early signing period, the Sooners have commitments from C.J. Nickson, Trent Wilson, Ka'Mori Moore and Alexander Shieldknight. They will bolster a deep unit when they arrive in Norman. It doesn’t look like Todd Bates is through by any stretch of the imagination.
