Two-Vehicle Collision at North Grand and West Randolph Sends One to the Hospital
A two-vehicle collision that happened at the intersection of North Grand and West Randolph on Tuesday sent one person to the hospital. Mary Nelson, 48, was travelling northbound on North Grand in her 2017 GMC Terrain when she attempted to turn left onto West Randolph. At the same time, Deirdre Butler, 49, was travelling southbound on North Grand in her 2017 Nissan Maxima with the intent of travelling straight through the same intersection.
Edmond City Council rejects Logan County Rural Water agreement for wastewater management
In a 4-1 vote last month, the Edmond City Council denied a proposed wastewater treatment agreement with Logan County Rural Water District 1 (LCRWD1) following concerns raised by The Edmond Alliance about incentivizing development outside city limits, potentially decreasing sales tax revenue. Mayor Darrell Davis was the lone vote in favor of the agreement.

Oklahoma Burn Survivor Camp Public Outreach Coordinator Rachelle Goddard Talks Money Raised From Guns N Hoses. On Saturday, May 24th 107.1 KNID held its 3rd Annual KNID Guns N Hoses Charity Softball Game between the Enid Fire Department and the Enid Police Department. The Enid Fire Department defeated the Enid Police Department 14-3 and raised $1000 for their charity of choice the Oklahoma Firefighters Burn Camp.

With a head coach, pitcher, and outfielder making the Oklahoma Baseball Coaches Association All-State Game, Choctaw High School was well represented in Enid June 2. Head coach Shane Hawk was named coach of the OBCA Large West All-State Team, while seniors Drake Fittro and Easton Teel join their Yellowjacket leader for one last outing in the 2024 OBCA Large All-State Game at David Allen Memorial Ballpark in Enid.

Personal Injury Collision in Kingfisher Sends One to the Hospital
A personal injury collision reported in Kingfisher County a half a mile south of Cashion has sent one person to the hospital. Colton Wayne George, 22, was headed southbound on East 850 Rd. in his 1996 Chevrolet Silverado with his passenger Kyle Brian Gray, 21, at 2:30 a.m. on Sunday. The vehicle departed the roadway to the right, struck a ditch and an AT&T underground cable pole and came to rest on its side.
