    Wausau man killed in 2-vehicle crash Thursday evening in Milladore. Two women were injured.

    MILLADORE − A 60-year-old Wausau man is dead following a crash between a motorcycle and a vehicle Thursday evening in Wood County.

    At 7:16 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported a two-vehicle crash at U.S. 10 and Wood County N in the town of Milladore, according to the Wood County Sheriff's Office. The initial investigation indicates a vehicle driven by an 86-year-old Junction City woman was going north on Wood County N when she failed to yield the right of way as she tried to cross U.S. 10, according to the Sheriff's Office. The motorcycle was going east on U.S. 10 when it collided with the vehicle.

    The 60-year-old Wausau man who was driving the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene. A 57-year-old Wausau woman who was a passenger on the motorcycle was transported by Lifelink Helicopter to a hospital for multiple injuries, according to the Sheriff's Office.

    The 86-year-old Junction City woman was injured in the crash and was transported to the hospital by a personal vehicle, according to Sheriff's Office.

    The Wood County Sheriff's Office and Wisconsin State Patrol are investigating the crash. The eastbound lanes of U.S. 10 near the crash remained closed for over two hours Thursday night, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
