Did you miss Thursday night’s fireworks show in Marshfield because of rain? Or, are you looking to extend your Fourth of July celebration? If so, here is a list of nearby fireworks shows set to take place Friday, Saturday and Sunday night.
Pittsville
About two hours before the fireworks were supposed to begin Thursday evening as part of the annual Pittsville Fourth of July Celebration in Riverside Park, event organizers announced on Facebook that they would be rescheduled “due to weather moving in faster than expected.”
They were rescheduled to 10 p.m. Friday. Organizers said they will have food stands open starting at 7 p.m., but due to permit restrictions only soda and water will be available for purchase for beverages.
Wausau
Wausau Events announced Thursday morning that its fireworks show originally scheduled for Thursday had been rescheduled due to weather. The fireworks show has been rescheduled for Saturday. Gates will open to the public at 7 p.m. at Emerson Street and Elmwood Boulevard, and the fireworks show is expected to begin around 9:15 p.m. at the Wausau Downtown Airport.
Parking will be available on surrounding city streets. Carry-ins are allowed, but no weapons, large tents, tables or tarps will be permitted. Trash cans and bathrooms will be available. There will be no food vendors or beverages on-site. The fireworks show is free to attend, but donations for the 2025 show are encouraged.
Neillsville
Due to the weather conditions, the Neillsville fireworks also were postponed on the Fourth of July. They will now be held at dusk on Sunday at the Clark County Fairgrounds, 1121 E. Division St. in Neillsville, according to Facebook posts from the Neillsville police and fire departments.
