Natchitoches Woman Arrested for Filing False Police Report
Natchitoches, La - The Natchitoches Police Department has arrested Haley Cobb (W/F, 18 y.o.a. of Natchitoches) for filing a false police report earlier this month. On July 6, 2024 around 11:14 a.m., officers with the Natchitoches Police Department were dispatched to the police station in reference to a complainant. Upon officers arrival they spoke with Haley Cobb and contacted the Criminal Investigations Division due to the nature of the crime.

Second victim in New Boston shooting succumbs to injuries; another murder charge pending against suspect
NEW BOSTON, Texas (KSLA) - The second victim of an East Texas shooting is now dead less than two weeks after sustaining life-threatening injuries. On Saturday, July 6, two people were shot in the 300 block of North Lindsey Street in New Boston around 5:42 p.m. Both suffered multiple gunshots wounds. One victim died at the scene.
