Severe Summer Storm Hits Daviess, Martin, and Pike Counties, Causing Damage and Power Outages
A quick summer pop-up storm last night led to severe thunderstorm warnings for Daviess, Martin, and Pike counties yesterday evening. Several trees were reported down, and a few homes were left without power in the northern part of Daviess County. In Farmersburg, damage was reported by high winds that blasted through from the tail end of the storm. No injuries were reported. The storms moved through around 8 p.m. yesterday.
