A $20,000 grant from AARP Kentucky will help rebuild sidewalks in Jenkins damaged by the deadly 2022 flood that took the lives of 45 residents. Rachel Rosolina, communications director for the nonprofit Appalshop, explained because its headquarters were severely damaged by the flooding, staff has temporarily moved to neighboring Jenkins, where the grant will help improve walkability.
Man Found Shot To Death Inside Car
A man is dead after a shooting in downtown Louisville early Sunday morning. Louisville Metro police said around 1:30 a.m. officers were called to the 800 block of West Main Street, near the Louisville Slugger Museum, on the report of a shooting.
