    Double traffic stop in Ohio leads to arrest of three, discovery of 1 lb of meth

    MARTINS FERRY, Ohio (WTRF) — Two separate traffic stops by the Martins Ferry Police Department resulted in the arrest of three people and the discovery of approximately one pound of methamphetamine and a firearm.

    According to the MFPD, officers made two separate traffic stops at the same time on State Route 7.

    The first stop resulted in the arrest of Amanda Bush, 31, and Autumn Stonebreaker, 26, who were both transported to Belmont County Jail on outstanding warrants out of Belmont County, Federal Warrants, and obstructing and possession of drug paraphernalia.

    Officials say during the second stop, officers found approximately one pound of crystal meth, a firearm, and cash.

    Jeremy Evans, 35, was arrested and transported to the Belmont County Jail on Felony 1 Drug trafficking, Felony 1 drug possession, and Felony 3 weapons under disability.

    The Bridgeport Police Department also assisted the Martins Ferry Police Department.
