    Indiana security camera installer spied on clients without their knowledge, caught with child porn

    MARTINSVILLE, Ind. — The owner of Anderson Video Security and Alarm LLC is accused of not only possessing images of child pornography but also using security cameras to spy on his clients without their knowledge.

    Adam R. Anderson of Martinsville has been charged with six counts of possession of child porn, a Level 5 felony. Charges were filed against Anderson by the Morgan County Prosecutor’s Office on Monday.

    While the specifics of his arrest for child porn remain under seal, a court document reveals that Anderson was reportedly found to be in possession of child porn images that involved children under the age of 12. Police seized devices belonging to Anderson which are being searched for additional evidence.

    According to the court documents, the investigation into Anderson also uncovered that he had been using video cameras installed in clients’ homes and/or businesses through his security company to watch clients without their knowledge or consent.

    Anderson is currently released on bond. The state has filed a motion requesting Anderson be placed under remote monitoring.
