Bear balances on home fence in Mary Esther, Florida

MARY ESTHER, Fla. (WKRG) — A small black bear has incredible balancing skills while crossing a fence. This video was sent to us by Ryan Campbell in Mary Esther.

As you can see, the bear is treading carefully yet swiftly on a fence. The bear does slip at least once, but carries on until it hops off the fence and runs away across the street.

Campbell captured this video on Thursday morning, he says his neighborhood runs along a tree line, so bear encounters happen occasionally. He says they’ve caused some minor property damage in the past to fences and also a trampoline safety net.
