If you're a BBQ aficionado like me, MISSION BBQ should definitely be on your radar. From the moment I stepped in, the aroma of smoked meats from the smoker truck parked out front was utterly tantalizing. The staff greeted me with such enthusiasm, making the atmosphere welcoming right off the bat. I opted for a Chopped Brisket sandwich, NC Style with Coleslaw, and the XXL combo featuring Mac and Cheese along with BBQ Beans — the beans were a standout with chunks of brisket mixed in, adding a delightful texture and flavor.
The variety of sauces available at each table was impressive, allowing me to experiment with different flavors; the KC Classic was my personal favorite. The restaurant's decor, inspired by their commendable mission, added an extra layer of charm to the dining experience. The service was swift and efficient, ensuring that my food arrived promptly without compromising on quality.
On my first visit, the staff went above and beyond, offering samples like juicy turkey and seasoned fries, which were a pleasant surprise. The baked potato cheese came highly recommended, and it did not disappoint. Overall, MISSION BBQ provided not just a meal, but a memorable dining experience filled with flavor and exceptional service. It's a place I'll be returning to, eager to try more of their mouth-watering offerings.
