    Hogan says he is not currently concerned about safety following Trump's attempted assassination

    Asked Sunday about former President Donald Trump surviving an attempted assassination the day before, U.S. Senate candidate and former Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan said the event has raised concern among some Senate candidates about their safety.

    Hogan, the Republican nominee, is running against Democrat Angela Alsobrooks, the Prince George’s County executive, in November.
