Basically, if a developer wants to build a new housing development that doesn't yet have infrastructure (roads, water pipes, electricity, gas, etc.) the area government is allowing the developer to borrow the money to create the infrastructure and then pass the debt onto the homebuyer.
Dozens of Rescued Dogs Flown to Utah for New Homes
Over 50 dogs rescued from a hoarding situation in Desert Hot Springs were flown to Utah by the nonprofit Wings of Rescue. This marks the third dog hoarding case in the area in the past three weeks. The animals, which were found by Riverside County Animal Control Services and received necessary treatment, are now awaiting new homes. The flight and associated costs were covered by donations to the rescue group.

Friends of the Helper Area Selling Raffle Tickets for Helper Express Playground
Friends of the Helper Area, a 501(C)3 nonprofit founded in 2021, is raising funds for a community project to create The Helper Express Inclusive Playground. At the heart of the Helper Express Playground is a large train structure that will be the main attraction and accessible to all kids including kids who use wheelchairs. Friends of the Helper Area is raising funds to match a grant by the Larry H. and Gail Miller Family Foundation to buy playground structures and ground cover by selling raffle tickets. Big Lots in Logan shutting it doors | Business
LOGAN – The Big Lots store at 1617 North Main in Logan is among nearly 150 stores across 28 states that the discount retailer is reportedly closing. The Logan store, along with a location in Layton, will shut its doors, while five other locations in Utah will remain open. The final date of operation for the Logan location is not yet known.
