KFD: No injuries after fire reported at East Knoxville home, fire extinguished within 10 minutes
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Knoxville Fire Department said no injuries were reported after crews responded to a house fire in East Knoxville on Sunday. The fire department said three people lived in the home, but none were inside at the time the fire. A release said one person had just returned home and discovered the fire at around 4:19 p.m., telling dispatchers that the fire was in the basement.
