This year’s class of the Mason County Sports Hall of Fame is historic in that for the first time, an equestrian athlete, team, or coach is being inducted. The first equestrian honorees to get into the Sports Hall of Fame is the 2017 State Champion Ludington Equestrian team. They are being inducted alongside Bob Kapcia, John Kasley, Theresa Shoop, Derek Shoup, and the 1974 Free Soil baseball team.
