LUDINGTON — The following were recently arraigned in Mason County’s 79th District Court:. -Derrick Allen Henton, 20; assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder and third offense habitual offender; arrested June 15 by Ludington Police Department; arraigned June 17; preliminary hearing: July 3; bail: $500,000 cash. 2017 Ludington Equestrian team becomes first equestrian team to get into MCSHOF
This year’s class of the Mason County Sports Hall of Fame is historic in that for the first time, an equestrian athlete, team, or coach is being inducted. The first equestrian honorees to get into the Sports Hall of Fame is the 2017 State Champion Ludington Equestrian team. They are being inducted alongside Bob Kapcia, John Kasley, Theresa Shoop, Derek Shoup, and the 1974 Free Soil baseball team.
