UMass Lowell Cross Country Teams Unveil Extensive 2024 Competition Schedule
The UMass Lowell men's and women's cross country teams have announced their 2024 competition schedule, starting with the Pre-Conference Meet in Burlington, Vt. on Aug. 31. Head Coach Gary Gardner emphasized a strategy of balancing youth with experience, allowing younger athletes to compete in smaller meets to gain experience. The schedule is designed to prepare the teams for key events such as the America East Championship and the NCAA Championships. Highlighted races include the Suffolk Short Course Classic, UMass Dartmouth Invitational, and the Paul Short Invitational.
