Ohio city named among best places to live for families: Fortune Magazine

(WJW) – Fortune has named 50 Best Places to Live for Families and one city in Ohio is among the top!

Mason, Ohio , a Cincinnati suburb, was ranked number 5 on the list.

According to a press release , this year’s rankings highlighted a city in each state. Factors considered in picking each state’s most family-friendly city included access to great schools, highly recommended hospitals, affordable housing, as well as resources for older adults, and a “strong sense of community.”

Mason was also recently named the safest city in Ohio by MoneyGeek.

Here’s a small bit of what Fortune publishers wrote about the city:

“ There’s plenty of ways to stay active and healthy, from the affordable recreational programs at the Mason Municipal Aquatic Center and Mason Community Center to its 301 acres of parks. “
