The blaze, which occurred at a home on Woodbrook Circle, is owned by Nick and Lindsey Townsend. Lindsey Townsend is a beloved teacher at Lakeland Elementary School.
Pray4TN Event Held On Jackson County Square
Organizers of a movement across the state that invites community members to gather and “Pray4TN” noted their 60th stop at the Jackson County Court Square in downtown Gainesboro was “extra special.” As of Thursday, July 18, pray for Tennessee organizers have hosted events in 60 of the state’s 95 counties. More stops are planned throughout the end of the month.

Germantown Native Rider Helps Olympic Team win Silver
SILVER: Germantown native Seth Rider helped Team USA win a silver medal in the Olympic mixed triathlon relay in Paris. The event occurred in the wee hours of Central Standard Time Monday morning, and Rider led off for the Americans and finished in 10th place before tagging his teammate for the relay’s second leg. The win came after Rider’s 29th place finish in the men’s triathlon last week.
