The Space Weather Prediction Center expected a solar storm Tuesday evening that could result in a K5 to K7 level Aurora. WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): Following a 5-minute shower or storm this evening, for many of you Wednesday will be dry. The pattern favors one or two storms between Summersville and Bluefield this evening and then most of Wednesday will be dry. The best threat for a storm (30% risk) will be after 3-4 p.m. Wednesday south of I-64. An approaching trough will then trigger rain for your garden late Thursday and Friday.
