An old favorite is plotting its triumphant return to Union Station later this year. Two years after leaving the location, Starbucks is coming back bigger and better than ever, reports local media outlet wtopnews .

The coffee giant’s return to 50 Massachusetts Avenue, NE, comes on the heels of Rexmark assuming the responsibility for Union Station’s retail spaces. Starbucks is not moving into the same area it previously occupied, but a larger storefront. While the java juggernaut previously claimed 1,100 square feet of real estate, the concept will soon have more than 2,000 square feet to greet and serve guests.

Construction is set to commence on the shop this month. A Starbucks representative confirms that the beloved cafe is set to begin caffeinating travelers in September.

Starbucks initially closed its Union Station location over public safety concerns. Rexmark has dedicated considerable time and resources to allaying those concerns and creating a secure retail experience.
