Earlier this month, drugs sold as cocaine in Melbourne were found to be contaminated with a powerful group of opioids, known as nitazenes.

The professor-turned-mass shooter who killed three people at the University of Nevada Las Vegas in December had oxycodone and meds for erectile dysfunction in his system when he opened fire in the targetted attack. 

Anthony Polito, who had failed to get a professorship at the university despite several attempts, had tadalafil — which is used to treat ED — and 15 nanograms per milliliter of oxycodone in his system, according to a Clark County coroner’s report obtained by 8 News Now.
