Pittsfield Gears Up for Annual Downtown Spring Cleanup

As spring unfolds, the community spirit in Pittsfield is set to bloom with the annual Downtown Pittsfield Spring Cleanup. This year's event, hosted by Downtown Pittsfield, Inc., invites residents to freshen up their city's streets and sidewalks. The cleanup initiative is scheduled for Friday, May 17, from 12 pm to 3 pm, and will take place in the heart of the city at 33 Dunham Mall Suite 102, Pittsfield, MA.

Volunteers, including individuals, small groups, and corporate teams, are all welcome to join forces in this communal effort to beautify downtown Pittsfield. Participants should note that tools are not provided, so it's important to come prepared with gloves, water, rakes, and brooms. However, to keep the volunteers energized, complimentary water and snacks will be available at the Downtown Pittsfield, Inc. office throughout the event.

The cleanup will encompass North and South Streets from East/West Housatonic to Berkshire Medical Center, including all side streets. Volunteers are encouraged to register in advance and may specify a preferred cleanup location.
