Tuslaw grad Randolph McFarren to present second original musical Aug. 9 and 10

MASSILLON ‒ Tuslaw graduate Randolph McFarren will present his second original musical Aug. 9 and 10 at Washington High School auditorium, 1 Paul E Brown Drive SE.

"Persuasion" is a musical adaption of the Jane Austen novel by the same name.

The show will feature 16 cast members and a 10-member orchestra.

This is the third musical McFarren has written. The first "Sense & Sensibility" never made it to the stage. But his second musical, "Mansfield Park," made its theatrical debut in 2023 just months after he graduated from high school.

McFarren, 19, is studying theater at Kent State University.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Show begins at 7. Tickets are $10 at the door.
