Diesel lookout: The cheapest fill-up in Mattoon

(MATTOON, IL) The price of diesel varies by as much as $0.27 in the greater Mattoon area, according to a recent price survey.

The survey, which looked at prices across the Mattoon area on Tuesday, found that Jack Flash at 4920 Lake Land Blvdhad the cheapest advertised diesel, at just $3.12 per gallon. By comparison, the most expensive station in the area was Huck's at 601 Charleston Ave , which listed a per-gallon price of $3.39

The average price across the greater Mattoon area was $3.19, according to data collected by gas price app GasBuddy.
