A rapidly expanding Upstate-based breakfast, brunch and lunch franchise has opened a Mauldin location.

Eggs Up Grill, headquartered in Spartanburg, recently opened 439 North Main St. in the Golden Strip Shopping Center marking the sixth franchise for partner Conley McIntyre, according to a news release. McIntyre also owns locations in Anderson, Powdersville, Simpsonville and Greenville.

McIntrye started with the brand eight years ago when he joined forces with his mother, who owned an Eggs Up Grill franchise in Greenville, the release stated. After her retirement, he purchased the restaurant and has continued to grow the brand in the Upstate ever since.

“I’ve been watching the progress in Mauldin and love this community,” said McIntrye in the release. “We are thrilled to be a part of the growth in the area and serve the best breakfast, brunch and lunch in town.”

With indoor seating for 150 and a small outdoor patio, the 5,000 square-foot restaurant is designed to make guests feel at home, the release stated. It also has a 16-seat private dining room available for larger groups or community gatherings called “The Coop.”

Eggs Up Grill serves its full menu open to close, according to the release. Signature menu items include the founder’s recipe corned beef hash with potatoes, onions and special spices, as well as made-to-order omelets, buttery, grilled blueberry muffins, classic breakfast dishes, croissant-style donuts and lunch selections including burgers, melts, salads and more, the release stated.

In addition, the Mauldin restaurant offers chicken fried steak and eggs, chicken fried steak benedict and more, according to the release.

With locations across the Carolinas, Georgia, Florida, Virginia, Tennessee, Alabama, Texas and Mississippi, Eggs Up Grill is on a fast pace for growth. There are more than 100 Eggs Up Grills under development or committed to open over the next decade, according to the release.
