‘Nationwide pickup warrant:’ Indicted man may have ties to Greene County

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — The Greene County Sheriff’s Office has released information about a fugitive with potential ties to the Miami Valley.

The Maumee Police Division in northwest Ohio is looking for Dominick Pickles, 24, of Defiance.

In fall 2023, Pickles was reportedly taken into custody after allegedly being found inside a vehicle with an 11-year-old child “in the middle of the night,” according to police.

A Lucas County Grand Jury indicted Pickles for “several related felonies.” He pleaded guilty to offenses related to child pornography, but is now accused of cutting his ankle bracelet and skipping his sentencing hearing.

According to the GCSO, authorities believe Pickles has ties to Greene County.
