Inaugural Lima Masters tournament brings golfers together to raise money for local sports programs
HARROD, OH (WLIO) - The Lima community turned out for a golf tournament to ensure today's kids have the same opportunities they did. On Saturday, the 1st annual Lima Masters was held. The tournament started off years ago as a Lima native reunion in Columbus, but this year, the founders decided to bring it home and use the outing to raise money for athletic programs in local schools. This year's proceeds will be donated to the Lima City Schools football program through the new nonprofit 4 The Friendship.
